DeBurggie Wurggie is our herd matron. She is such a special goat. She came to us skittish and scared and now she loves snuggles and cuddles and is our absolute favorite goat! If other goats aren't getting along, she will come between them and mediate. She comes to us and rubs her head on us as a sign of acceptance in her herd and affection. Plus - she pulls some of the funniest faces! 

Lizzy is such a sweet goat. She will stand still for hours just loving your pets. She is so affectionate not only to humans, but to her babies as well. She let Holly nurse for 8 months and the two of them are inseparable. 

It's funny, when we first got Jane as a baby, she would run from us. We had to really work for her trust and affection. Now, she comes up to us and loves her pets and snuggles and even pushes other goats out of the way to make sure she gets them. 

When we first got Lydia as a baby, we named her Charlotte. But she kept kept escaping and going into the boys pen. She apparently was boy crazy just like Lydia in Pride & Prejudice - so, we changed her name. =) Now that she's older, she has settled down and is one of our sweetest, gentlest goats. 

Ok, so we had to break from the Jane Austin theme because Holly was the first baby born our farm and she was born on Christmas; so, she needed a festive name. Unfortunately, she doesn't realize she has grown and she still acts like a small little baby and loves to jump on our back and in our lap and get held. 

Emma has grown since this picture, but this is my favorite - I love her little milk mustache and tongue. She has such a fun, frisky personality. She loves to follow us from the barn to our house and come in for treats. 

Caroline is our only registered, pure Nubian. We got her as a bottle baby and she loves people! She follows us everywhere and is one of our friendliest goats! 

Mr. Knightly is our registered, purebred Nubian buck to go to Caroline. I have always loved how he looks like a soft, plush toy. He has such a fun personality - he loves being apart of everything we do. When I'm sweeping the barn, he loves to stand in my pile. When  we are doing construction, he loves to try to eat the screws and screw gun. Such a silly goat. 

Poor Mr. Darcy. He was so sad to leave his mommy; he cried the whole way home. But we quickly won him over and now he won't leave our side. He is one our most friendly bucks and we are so excited that he is not only registered, but also polled. This means that 50% of his kids won't grow horns - no need to disbud. Yea! 

Willoughby is a registered, purebred Nigerian and he was love at first sight. He is so precious and sweet. He has the most beautiful blue eyes and I love the color of his coat. And just like Willoughby in the book - he is a lady's man! 

Meet Penny, Snuggle Bug & Felicity. The sweetest, cutest kids you've ever met.  

Her name say's it all - Precious has been sweet from the moment she was born. 

Ivy takes after her mom, Lizzy. She will come up and paw at our legs begging to be pet. Such a sweetheart.  

Lizzy had triplet girsl this year and Charlotte was the runt. So we decided to make her a bottle baby. She spent the first 3 months in our house and won our hearts. 

If Debourgh is the queen of our herd, then it is fitting that her daughter is also a royal. Duchess is so pretty - I love the white eyeliner around her eyes!  

The other member of our royal family. We weren't planning on keeping another boy - but Duke was just too sweet and he melted our hearts and we just couldn't bare to part with him!
